Terms of Service
1. Service Overview
• We provide Private Investigation services.
• All services require prepayment and are processed through secure payment via PayPal. Private Investigation companies and businesses can contact us for alternative payment methods.
• Accepted payment methods include E-Transfers, Cheques, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Debit, and any other PayPal-supported payment options. • Refunds are always issued back to the original method of payment.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel any request for legal, ethical, or compliance reasons.
• Services are delivered based on the information provided by the client. Incorrect or misleading information may affect results and fees.
2. No-Find, No-Fee Policy
• Our No Find No Fee locate applies to one locate per subject and includes up to 3 hours of investigative work. If we determine that the subject has not been located within this timeframe, you may end the investigation at no cost, and we will issue a refund to your original payment method.
• The determination of whether a subject is considered “found” is at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to refuse service for any reason we consider appropriate.
• If your case is complex and requires more than 3 hours and you choose to continue, additional investigative time is billed at $80 per hour, plus any expenses.
• All payments are processed securely through PayPal. Processing fees charged by PayPal are non-refundable.
• Private investigation firms and other businesses may contact us directly to arrange alternate payment methods.
• Refunds are not offered if:
– a report has already been supplied
– the subject is confirmed deceased
– the subject is confirmed to be outside the country
– the subject does not exist or incorrect information was provided
– substantial research has already been completed
• Payment-provider processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any applicable refund.
3. Non-Refundable Services
There are no refunds on genealogy research, background investigations, corporate investigations, any specialized search services, or specialized investigations services as these involve extensive manual research, data analysis, and time-based investigative work. All fees for these services are final once work has begun.
4. Processing Fees
• All refunds are subject to non-refundable payment processing fees charged by the payment provider (PayPal or card issuer).
• These fees are typically 8–10% of the transaction total and are deducted automatically from any refund.
• Processing fees cover the cost of payment-provider charges and administrative handling.
5. Service Delivery
• Reports are delivered by email.
• Most searches are completed within the estimated timeframe, but delays may occur due to holidays, illness, or data-source interruptions.
6. Continued Research
• Clients may request additional research beyond the base service.
• Additional time or advanced searches are billed at the stated hourly or per-case rate plus any expenses.
7. Compliance & Legal Use
• Clients must have a lawful purpose (e.g., debt recovery, contract enforcement, legal interest, or legitimate need to locate an individual or to request information on them).
• We do not support harassment, stalking, or unlawful use of obtained information.
• Clients bear full responsibility for how the information is used and agree to indemnify us against any misuse.
• We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time and for any reason we deem appropriate, including ethical, legal, or data-compliance concerns.
8. Limitations
• Results are based on available data and cannot be guaranteed accurate, complete, or current.
• We are not liable for decisions made using the information provided.
• We do not provide legal advice.
9. Restrictions
We do not accept:
• Cases involving minors
• Requests submitted with false, misleading, or fabricated information
• Cases where legal restrictions apply
10. Data Protection & Storage
• All data submitted is stored securely.
• Information is retained only as required for service delivery, verification, or legal compliance and as required by the Ministry of Community Safety & Correctional Services.
11. Intellectual Property
• All reports and research materials remain our intellectual property.
• Clients may use the information only for the lawful purpose for which it was ordered.
12. Chargebacks
• Unauthorized chargebacks after service delivery will be pursued, including all applicable fees, costs, and recovery expenses.
13. Updates to Terms
• We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
